If Simmons had not been so flexible in its part-time program, I never would have had the opportunity to go back to school for a second Master's degree. The faculty, the students, and the general atmosphere of the school make Simmons an exciting, intellectually stimulating place to be.

Three faculty contributed chapters to the Handbook of HIV and Social Work: Principles, Practice, and Populations (John Wiley & Sons, Inc.), to be published this fall: “Underlying principles of helping in the HIV field” by Professor Hugo Kamya; “HIV-related Crisis Intervention and Counseling” by Associate Professor Michael Melendez; and “HIV-related political and legislative intervention” by Associate Professor Gary Bailey.
